Hi Branden –

Congrats on making the the leap; 2021 is going to be a big year!

You’ve got a lot to plan for, but here are the underlying things I would be thinking about if I were in your shoes:

1) Who do I know? Most of your business in the first 24 months is going to come from your sphere of influence. These are the people you know who are interested in buying or selling. What are you going to do to get their attention, let them know you’re in real estate now, and can help?

2) Reputation Generation: What are you going to be known for? Working with first time homebuyers? Listing specialist? Condo expert? Picking a niche will help you build out your brand. Don’t worry, you don’t have to pick just one, but where are you going to start?

3) Inbound Leads – Where are they coming from? Eventually, you’re going to ned to do business with people you don’t already know. What’s your strategy for generating these leads? Are you going to pay for a service like Zillow or BoldLeads or MarketLeader? Are you going to be a cold caller? Door knocker? What are you going to do to fill up that lead roster?

There are a million different things you could be prepping for right now, but these are the most pressing!

Going to Real Estate Full time in two weeks. Taking a leap of Faith. Want to really shoot out the gates as much as possible but don’t have a lot of money to invest. What would be the best strategy to make it work. I’ll have nothing but time to hustle.
